Going on the auction block will be 251 acres with approximately 87 acres cropland and open land, the balance wooded with marketable timber. A forester has estimated a timber value of $120,000 for parcels 13 and 14 which contain 147 acres. The timber will remain with the land. There will be twelve parcels ranging from 7 acres to 10 acres each located on Milan Road, most of these parcels are cropland with some being wooded in the back portion. Two large wooded parcels of approximately 73 acres each will also be sold. It is hard to find land within three miles of Brandenburg, but you will have the opportunity at this auction.
